Rolie Polie Guacamole at the Bell House

Where/When: The Bell House on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 11 a.m.

Why Go: Head to Gowanus on Sunday with the little ones and dance the afternoon away at the and Okee Dokee Brothers Show. In addition to rocking out to Park Slope’s favorite children’s band, kids can make their own recycled art project with the Private Picassos. There will also be food for sale from and FREE hummus courtesy of Tribe.

Cost: $10 a ticket

Where/When: on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 1 p.m.

Why Go: After you’ve hit up Rolie Polie Guacamole at the Bell House, keep the music going and stop by the Brooklyn Bandanza at Littlefield to benefit P.S. 261. Expect kid and family bands like Brooklyn Kids Rock, the Brooklyn Music Factory, Willie Mae Rock Camp, and the Gowanus Music Club. Of course, there will also be dancing, an air guitar contest, and drink specials for the grown-ups.

Cost: $10 adults/$5 children

Arts and Crafts at the Pacific Library

Where/When: on Friday, Feb. 11 4 p.m.

Why Go: Let the kids get creative with craft time at the Pacific Library on Fourth Avenue. A couple of enthusiastic librarians oversee as kids put their imaginations to work using glue, glitters, cotton balls and more to create works of art worthy of any refrigerator door.

Cost: Free!

Where/When: The Brooklyn Museum on Friday, Feb. 11 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Brooklyn Museum’s monthly teen night is planned by teens, for teens. This month’s Teen Night will highlight Lorna Simpson: Gathered, a special exhibition currently on display at the museum. Participants will investigate how photography is used as a metaphor for lost and gathered histories and life stories in the exhibition, as well as take part in art-making workshop, interactive games, and performances.

Kids’ Day at Irondale Theater

Where/When: The Irondale Center on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m.

Why Go: Each month, the Irondale Center presents “Big Box of Distractions,” a day of interactive theater adventures specifically for families. This time around, Keith Burnstein leads a fun-packed Musical-Book-Improv workshop for kids. The theater recommends this for kids ages 10 and above.

Cost: $10 adults/$5 children
