Why Go: End the week with an evening of local Latin-inspired cuisine, music and revelry: Barcelona-born and New York–based DJ Turmix will spin Latin rhythms before Spanglish Fly—one of only two boogaloo bands in the nation—plays a set of the late 1960s dance music (and offer a dance lesson for boogaloo newbies).

Where/Why: Joralemon St & Court St, Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

Why Go: A summit for New Yorkers who care for street trees, love parks, nurture gardens, compost creatively and make New York greener and greater! There will be tree watering, composting, bioswales workshops and more. To see how the day will break down, click here

Where/When: , 200 Eastern Pkwy, Saturday at 2 p.m.

Why Go: Maura Madden, author of “Crafternoon: A Guide to Getting Artsy and Crafty with Your Friends All Year Long,” will lead a workshop on how to make creative collage pieces inspired by love and Valentine's Day. Registration is required, register here, or at the Museum's Visitor Center.

Why Go: City Stomp’s music is influenced by the sounds of the Caribbean, Africa and Ireland with a Rock sensibility. They play songs about the subway, garbage trucks and Coney Island that kids and grown-ups will enjoy.

Cost: $7 per person ($10 at the door), $25 for a family in advance

Where/When: , 462 Bergen St, Sunday at 7 p.m.

Why Go: Learn how to sweep your partner off their feet and into the sheets with the tips in Babeland’s free mini-workshop. The workshop will discuss body language and flirting techniques that will lead to a hot n’ heavy evening. This event is for adults 18+. RSVP here.
