Here are your best bets for a good time come five o’clock Friday:

Where/ When: , 376 9th Street, Friday, 5 p.m.

Why Go: Drink up in the company of the quirky musical trio of Brian Drye on piano; Ari Folman-Cohen on bass; Oscar Noriega on drums, and a rotating cast of surprise guests.

Cost: $10 donation

Where/When: , 702 Union Street, Friday at 11:59 p.m.

Why Go: This is a karaoke dance party for people who do not like karaoke. This weekly event is part singing and part dancing with some crowd surfing just for fun.

Cost: Free!

Where/When: Jaime Campiz Playground (on the corners of Marcy and Metropolitan avenues in Williamsburg, Saturday at 6 p.m.

Why Go: Because dressing like a bloodied, brain-eating zombie is fun (participants are asked to shuffle around and growl). The zombie crawl will go to The Cove (108 N 6th Street) to view the 1968 classic "Night of the Living Dead," drink beers and watch a zombie-themed improv performance by "Lady Who Lunch." All donations made during this event will help benefit The Food Bank For New York City. For every dollar donated, five nutritious meals are provided to aid those dealing with food poverty. 

Cost: $5 donation 

Where/ When: , 30 Lafayette Avenue, Saturday, 11 p.m.

Why Go: BAM’s own DJ Idlemind, also known as “The Appropriate Agent,” is master of eclectic beats, live remixes, and party anthems from all genres. A former resident DJ of Club Zimbabwe, La Linea and the egendary Tunnel, will lead this late-night dance party in BAMcafé.

Cost: Free!

Where/ When: , 506 5th Avenue, Sunday, 6 p.m.

Why Go: Come watch Michael Tully’s documentary, Septien, which follows a reclusive sports hustler who returns home to his family farm after years of absence and reunites with his two eccentric, unhinged and emotionally damaged brothers. Copies of the brand new DVD will be for sale and the cast and crew will be present.
