Why Go: Come for a great Easter egg hunt! There will be hundreds of eggs all throughout the gym filled with pennies, which will be redeemable for candy.

Where/When: Prospect Park SW & Vanderbilt St, Saturday at 10 a.m.

Why Go: Participate in spring cleaning in Prospect Park. Join the other volunteers raking leaves, edging pathways and removing litter from natural areas. Meet at Wellhouse Drive, enter at Prospect Park Southwest and Vanderbilt. REGISTER HERE. Click here for more information about volunteering.

Why Go: BRAIN CAVE 2012 is two nights of Brooklyn DIY's best and brightest talent on display. Put on by Cara Bella Presents and Paper Garden Records, tonight's performances include: Monogold, Caged Animals, Afuche, Snowmine, Quiet Loudly, Shy Hunters and more.

Where/When: Park Slope Farmers Market, 5th Ave & 4th St, Sunday at 11 a.m.

Why Go: Come and do your grocery shopping! The vendors will include: Fork and Glass, American Pride Seafood, Bombay Emerald Chutney Company, Bread Alone, Brooklyn Cured, Dr. Pickle, Breezy Hill Orchards, Feather Ridge Farm, Hudson Valley Duck, Jersey Farm Produce, Migliorelli Farm, Mortgage Apple Cakes, The Pastures, Raaka Chocolate, Tierra Farm, YisRoyal, Flour City Pasta, Barry’s Tempeh, and Calcutta Kitchens.
