Why Go: R&B singer-songwriter Esnavi made the top 40 spot on the adult contemporary charts with her single “Unexpected Love.” She has performed at the Apollo Theater, S.O.B.s and Joe’s Pub. She has also appeared on BET and MTV. Come see her live!

Black History Month: Living History @ Brooklyn Children's Museum

Where/When: Brooklyn Children's Museum, 145 Brooklyn Ave, Saturday, 9:30 a.m.

Why Go: Celebrate Black History Month with exciting events like “Let's Join Hands,” where kids explore the differences and similarities of various cultures, learn about tolerance and peace, including Dr. Martin Luther King’s message of friendship and love from 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., ages 5 and under.

Cost: $7.50

Feraba-African Rhythm Tap 

Where/When: Central Library, 10 Grand Army Plz, Saturday, 1 p.m.

Why Go: Ibrahima Kolipe Camara and Irene Koloseus will perform dances, rhythms and songs from Guinea and the honor tap dance, an art form with African roots created in America. 

Cost: FREE!

Greenmarket at Grand Army Plaza

Where/When: Grand Army Plaza, Saturday at 8 a.m.

Why Go: Grab some fresh fruits, meats, seafood, veggies and wine at this year-round, weekly farmer's market. You can also drop off your textiles at GrowNYC's Textile Recycling and drop off your compost at GrowNYC Compost Collection.

Cost: Free!

Family Yoga

Where/When: Priority Group Fitness, 411 7th Ave, Sunday, 12 p.m.

Why Go: Because it’s hard to find time for fitness. Come to the family yoga class for a fun and energizing practice with your kid. The class will focus on animated breathing exercises, playful yoga poses and soothing relaxation techniques. Space is limited, RSVP to info@priorityfitnesstraining.com. Open to children ages 6 to 10 with one parent.

Cost: $10 for one kid and one parent
