Four Things to Do This Week, Jan. 1 to 4

It’s the New Year, get out and do something in Park Slope!

Happy New Year, Park Slope!

Whether or not you will stick to your New Year’s resolutions, go out in the neighborhood this week for great events.

Tuesday

Did you tell yourself that you’d exercise this year? Start off the first day of the New Year doing yoga at The Fifth Line. Come to the free New Year's Day Yoga for Peace at 12 p.m.

Wednesday

Come to Freddy's Bar for FREE LIVE MUSIC in the BACKROOM. Party like it’s still New Year’s Eve.

Thursday

Palo Santo is proud to be a pick-up site for Brooklyn's first Community Supported Fishery. Join Mermaid's Garden CSF, a model that connects fish eaters to fishermen, and pick up fresh, local and sustainable fish every week for a fair price. Look forward to eating Black Bass, Bluefish, Haddock, Monkfish, Pollock, Summer Flounder, Swordfish, Tuna, Wreckfish and more.

Friday

Start off your Friday right with Friday Night Sessions with Alegba & Friends. Enjoy live jazz, Haitian roots, RaRa, soul and more from 8 to 11 p.m., no cover charge.

Being that it is an election year, if you and other registered voters scream loudly enough, someoneRead More will hear you. This sounds like a job for the 7 On Your Side, or NY1 who may be able to reach NYCDOT and Higher Ranking officials at the 78th PCT to respond to your complaint and do something.
