Flash Flood Watch Dampens Labor Day Plans

The National Weather Service warns of late afternoon thunderstorms.

You may have to broil this year's Labor Day hot dogs, as the weather may not permit an outdoor BBQ.

The National Weather Service predicts scattered showers and thunderstorms for today, and has issued a Flash Flood Watch. New rainfall is predicted to be less than a tenth of an inch for Labor Day, but may fall harder when accompanying thunder.

Rainfall of a quarter of an inch to half an inch is predicted for Tuesday.
