Want some theater tonight? Check out Untrained at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Choreographer Lucy Guerin
takes the unpredictably of an untrained dancer and incorporates that originality and freedom into a dance. Two trained dancers partner with two untrained movers, allowing a unique conversation to take place on stage.

Wednesday

As the oldest holiday fundraising drive in the country, New York Methodist Hospital’s Red Stocking Soirée raises funds to help provide charity medical care for those who are uninsured or under-insured in the Brooklyn community. 

Thursday

Nationally acclaimed authors Rick Moody and Darcey Steinke join Old First Reformed Church minister Daniel Meeter in a discussion of Progressive Christianity: both as a political force, and as a means of approaching the teachings of Christ with fresh eyes and freedom from traditional assumptions.
