Calling All Park Slope Parents

Join us —we need your help.

Parents: We know you've got wisdom to share — not just with your children, but with other mothers and fathers facing the same challenges, dilemmas, joys and opportunities you face every day.

Starting very soon, we'll be producing a lot of material we hope you'll find useful — tips and stories on everything parents care about, from finding the most kid friendly restaurants, to finding the best school or day care. If it matters to you, it matters to us.

We want you to talk to us. Often. And to help encourage this interactivity, we are establishing The Family Council. We'd love for you to join.

What's involved? As much or as little as you'd like.

We'll call on you and the rest of the council to help us plan our content. We'll trust you when you tell us what stories will resonate with parents. And we'd like your help in finding local "Whiz Kids" for our weekly spotlight feature. We might also organize meetings for the benefit of parents and families, and we'll invite you to be a part of that.

If you're a new parent, you likely have questions. If you're an experienced parent, you likely have suggestions to share. Join us.

Of course, we'll keep up on our already rich kid-related coverage. But we need your suggestions!

Who can join?

We want moms. We want dads. We want grandmoms, granddads, stay at home moms, stay at home dads, work from home moms, stepmoms, single moms, married moms, expecting moms and de facto moms (and dads).
