Park Slope has more than its fair share of cute and cuddly pups—and we have the pictures to prove it.
After asking readers to submit photos of their King and Queen Canines of Park Slope (and we saw a lot of crown-worthy contenders), the neighborhood weighed in on five male and female finalists over the past week, and now the votes are in.
Our King: David
Our Queen: Daisy
The winning pooches will receive a six-pack of Zoe's Premium Pet Food, organic human-grade ingredients cooked in small batches by local Slope dog owner ($30), a vet exam and microchip from Park Slope Veterinary ($120), a four-week training course by Walk This Way at The Brooklyn Dog Training Center ($180), a professional pet photography session with Jenna Leigh Teti ($150), a gift basket from NYC pet.com ($30), a one-year membership to Prospect Park Alliance and a doggie daytrip with ProspectBArk Dog Walking and Pet Sitting ($90).
All hail our newly anointed neighborhood royalty, David and Daisy!
Park Slope Patch extends a big thanks to all for submitting their pups' pics, voting, commenting and following along in anticipation of the big reveal. The dogs are lucky to have you as their owners.
We'd also like to thank our judges at ProspectBArk, who are inviting all residents and ther four-legged friends to the Coffee Bark event in Prospect Park's Long Meadow they are hosting Saturday morning at 7 a.m. (See attached flyer).
