Peformance Art on Brooklyn Stoops October 19

Artist Suzanne Lacy has orchestrated a large-scale public event/artwork that will take place in the late afternoon or early evening of October 19 that will take place on many front stoops on Park Place between Vanderbilt and Underhill.  Some 60 small groups of diverse women have been pre-selected and will engage in conversations about feminism and other issues.  The public will be encourage to wander the block observing the different conversations.  This unique event that has been organized by Creative Time in Partnership with the Elizabeth A Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum.
