Charter Schools vs DeBlassio

I sort of understand the Michelle Bachmann like rantings of Eve Moskowitz against Bill De Blassio. Who wouldn't scream about someone threatening your empire? Threatening your almost half a million dollar salary? Truth is, any money that exists for education in this city should be going to DOE schools, where the best teachers and administrators are to be found. Im not blind to the problems of the NYC DOE. I spent too many years as an educator to think that its an ideal system. Far from it. Its full of brilliant, dedicated teachers and administrators, as well as psychopaths who have no business near children of any age. Give BDB and Carmen Farina time to undo some of the damage that was done by the educates like Joel Klein. And stop wasting all that commercial time and money screaming about Bill De Blassio taking away your schools. Your more worried about your salary than the children you serve.
