Three muggers robbed a man while walking along Sixth Avenue on Feb. 7.

The 29-year-old victim told police that he was walking on Sixth Avenue when three men grabbed him from behind and hit him in the head as he approached the corner of 14th Street at around 1 p.m. The muggers then rifled through his pockets, stole his property, and then fled. The victim said that he does not know what the crooks stole from him for he had a few drinks before the mugging and doesn’t remember what he had with him at the time of the attack. The victim was transported to New York Methodist Hospital for a laceration to his head and said he cannot describe his assailants.

Car Boosted

A thief boosted a car from its parking spot on Third Avenue sometime between Feb. 6 and 7.

The 57-year-old crook told police that he parked his purple Honda near First Street at around 11 p.m. on Feb. 6. When he returned to get his car, it was gone. The victim told cops that he locked all of his doors and has no outstanding parking tickets. There was no broken glass in the parking spot and police said that the car was not towed.
