Hi, my name is Stacie Scott and it's a great pleasure to have an opportunity to leave a comment regarding the Barclay Center that is being built across the street from where i live. My family and my awesome neighbors are now living in this community for over 30 years and are amazed and excited of this huge transition. Some are even scared or have a fear of the unknown. I look forward to the new beginning and would even like to take part in this transition. I pray that our neighborhood remain close net and enjoy the change together. And we would love to invite Mr. Ratner and Jay-Z to Second Atlantic Terminals located across the street on Carlton Ave to express a warm welcome to our home.

I wonder if they have a strategy for keeping pigeons from nesting in the facade.

I truly hope they don't plan on playing hawk sounds over a PA system like at Citi Field.

Otherwise, it's looking pretty cool--much better than the faux historical stadiums popping up around the country.

I think it is a horrible structure! They cheated the community in more than one way.. The structure was originally to be designed by Frank Gehry which sounded promising, but they run out of money and the structure now looks not only ugly but is built with ceap materials.
They promised jobs for the local people, that did not happen either. Traffic, noise, and cheap stores is the next step and I am very glad that I live far enough no to see this place everyday.
