Park Slope Floods!

With the downpour upon us there is a flood warning for Kings County untyil 1 p.m. today according to Weather Underground.

We are experiencing moderate to heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms will continue to move northward throughout Brookyln.

So far, rainfall has totaled around two inches and if the storm continues at its worst, Weather Underground is expecting one inch per hour.

In Park Slope, the sewers are overflowing—making more than ankle-deep puddles at Union Street on Seventh Avenue, President, Carroll and First and Second streets.

The combined sewer overflows are at its prime, so make sure to avoid the street corners if possible.

The current temperature is 59 degrees, with northeast winds blowing 8 miles per hour.

The rest of the week it is supposed to rain until Thursday with temperatures in the high 70s. It should clear up by Friday.
