New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular at Grand Army Plaza!
What’s a better way to welcome the New Year than to watch some fireworks?
No plans for New Year’s Eve? Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz got you covered, Brooklyn.
On Saturday, December 31, make sure to catch the fireworks blasting off into the sky near Grand Army Plaza.
The 30thannual event, which will feature live music by the Brooklyn-based Rock ‘N’ Soul Experience and free hot cocoa, is sponsored by Markowitz and the Prospect Park Alliance and is free.
The booming and banging show will start at 11 p.m. and the fireworks start at midnight, but make sure to get there early so you watch in a prime location.
The Borough President’s office suggests the best spots to catch the aerial show is at Grand Army Plaza, anywhere in Prospect Park on West Drive and along Prospect Park West between the plaza and Ninth Street.
